They are slow growing plants and have rounded fleshy leaves on long drooping stems. They produce bunches of white flowers which are not very attractive from an ornamental point of view. They flower in early summer and after flowering, we can collect the seeds that will have to be sown after a few days because they cannot be stored for a long time.

They are mostly houseplants.

It needs exposure to light but not direct sunlight, it tolerates it but not during the hottest hours of the day. It is important that the temperature does not drop below 15ºC.
