Description
Rhipsalis produces inconspicuous, white or yellow flowers.
Growing Rhipsalis is not difficult, so even beginners can handle it.
This plant does not require direct light and does not tolerate low temperatures. The waterings must be scarce, but the loam must always be slightly damp.
The ideal location for Rhipsalis is very bright, but not in direct sun, especially in the hot months.
The needs of Rhipsalis such as the low tolerance to low temperatures make this plant unsuitable for cultivation in the open ground in our areas.
The Rhipsalis can't stand the cold, therefore it is necessary to be careful not to expose it to temperatures below 7 degrees Celsius.
The temperature of the room where the plant is located should be medium and the room should be humid enough. The minimum temperature generally tolerated is 10°C, with some variations according to the species.
Rhipsalis does best when placed in a well-lit room. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, as it would risk burning.
