It is advisable to place your elm bottle garden in a bright area but with indirect light.  The ideal place should be warm and with a constant temperature, excessive overheating could upset the delicate balance of the internal environment causing excessive evaporation or drying out of the soil and plants.

Irrigation: through the opening in the pot you can spray your seedling once a week and reduce watering during the winter. It is recommended not to overdo the water intake as you risk compromising the plant itself.
