Terrarium Big mix green plants
Terrarium composed of a mix of green plants
The closed terrarium can be used as a beautiful ornament or centerpiece. It is a real self-sufficient ecosystem in miniature that needs to live, to carry out chlorophyll photosynthesis;
excessive overheating could upset the delicate balance of the internal environment causing excessive evaporation or dryness of the soil and plants, therefore we recommend placing them near a window not in direct sunlight or illuminated by a LED lamp.
Plants may vary based on availability as they are single and unique creations
Upon request, it is possible to add a subject (e.g. Buddha) or an object (e.g. a small temple)
The Terrarium is a piece of furniture made up of plants planted inside a transparent glass container.
The compositions are completed by inert elements which help to personalize the miniature landscapes: pebbles, stones, sand or bark. Moss can also be used to enrich the ecosystem of the terrarium, helping to generate a lively and full environment
ATerrarium is a small ecosystem to look after and take care of, almost entirely self-sufficient. A small miracle of nature: the only piece of furniture that lives and breathes!
It is important to keep the soil under control so that it does not stay dry for a long time. Irrigation can also be done after several days.
PLANT CARE
It is important that it is not exposed directly to sunlight. Make sure the vase is placed in a place exposed to indirect light. Leave the pot in a place with a constant temperature between 13° C. and 27° C. A positive sign of the correct position chosen is the quantity of condensed air present inside the pot. In an ideal environment, only one side of the glass container will be covered with a slight vapor, leaving the other side clear throughout the day. To ensure harmonious growth of the plants, the terrarium can be rotated periodically by a quarter, always in the same direction, allowing for more even distribution of humidity as condensation always forms on the coldest wall of the internal wall. But be careful not to rotate more than once a month so as not to stress the ecosystem.
HUMIDITY AND WATERING
Being a closed system, the terrarium almost never needs to be watered, at most 2/3 times a year, because the same water vapor will keep it watered. If the potting soil and moss becomes dry to the touch, then it's time to water with distilled water using a sprayer. You can lift the lid of the terrarium to check its condition if necessary, but if we remove it often the humidity is lost more quickly. If, on the other hand, we notice an excess of condensation, more than half of the internal surface, we can dry it with a clean cloth. If, on the other hand, the condensation is constant and total so as not to see the plants inside, we must keep the terrarium open for about 24 hours in order to allow evaporation. An excessive level of humidity can cause the appearance of mold and rot.
